Artilux is seeking an experienced installer or service technician with at least two years’ professional experience fitting, installing or repairing products in customers’ homes.
Experience with windows, doors, screens, blinds, awnings, shutters, cabinetry, glazing, shopfitting or similar fitted products would be particularly suitable.
Previous retractable-screen experience is not required. We will train you in our products and installation methods, but you must already be confident using tools, taking accurate measurements and completing neat, precise work onsite.
This is a permanent employee position - not subcontract or casual work.
The role
- Install custom-made retractable and pleated screens in customers’ homes
- Complete service, adjustment and repair work
- Carry out accurate check measures after training
- Diagnose and solve practical installation issues onsite
- Communicate professionally with customers
- Complete job updates and reports using an iPad
- Collect materials and attend toolbox meetings at our Hornsby factory twice weekly
- Work predominantly across Sydney’s South, Eastern Suburbs and Inner West
About you
- At least two years’ professional installation, fitting, maintenance or repair experience
- Confident using hand and power tools
- Able to measure accurately and work with custom-made products
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing a clean finish
- Comfortable working independently in customers’ homes
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Current Australian driver licence
- Australian working rights
