Saltbush Social Enterprises is looking for a Business Support Administrator to join our Corporate Services team in Darwin.

- Excellent Remuneration: $65k to $75k + 12% super + salary packaging + 5 weeks annual leave
- Reports To: Chief Financial Officer
- Hours: Normal business hours, with flexibility for additional hours as needed
- Travel: Not an inherent requirement, but may be required depending on operational needs

The Role: This is a varied, hands-on role supporting the day-to-day operations of Saltbush across administration, office coordination, IT support, resources and internal projects.
You’ll be a central point of support across the organisation, working closely with our Corporate Services and program teams, while also providing administrative support to our Executive Leadership Team.
No two days will look exactly the same – you might be coordinating equipment for a new starter, managing office resources, assisting with an event, liaising with our external IT provider, organising travel or meetings, updating procedures or helping a team with an administrative request.
Key responsibilities include:

Provide high-quality administrative support across the organisation.
- Manage incoming enquiries, calls and the Saltbush inbox.
- Coordinate office supplies, uniforms, merchandise, equipment and other resources.
- Support the purchase, setup and tracking of laptops, phones and other equipment.
- Liaise with our external IT provider and assist employees with general IT support and onboarding.
- Coordinate travel, meetings, appointments, catering and events.
- Assist with document creation, meeting minutes and internal initiatives.
- Develop and maintain procedures, registers and process maps.
- Build positive and professional relationships with employees, suppliers and external stakeholders.
About You: You’ll be someone who is organised, approachable and willing to jump in and help, with the ability to manage competing priorities and use your initiative.

Previous experience in administration, reporting and document management.
- Strong organisation and time management skills.
- Confidence working independently while also being part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and an ability to develop and follow processes.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and the ability to learn systems such as SharePoint.
- The ability to work professionally and confidentially with a wide range of people.
- Experience working within a culturally diverse environment.
A qualification in Business Administration and previous experience within the not-for-profit, social services or employment services sector would be highly regarded.

National Police Clearance (no more than 3 months old)
- Valid NT OCHRE Card
- Current Unrestricted/Open Driver Licence
