DNS Removals is an established Brisbane removalist. For 16 years we have helped families and businesses move across Brisbane and South East Queensland, completing more than 2,500 moves a year and earning over 1,000 five-star reviews along the way. A safe, reliable fleet is the backbone of every move we do, and keeping our trucks on the road and in top condition is critical to the service our customers count on. We are looking for an experienced Fleet Manager to lead that side of the business.
About the role
You will manage DNS Removals' fleet of removal trucks and vehicles and keep it safe, serviced and available. Your responsibilities will include:
- Organising the purchase, servicing, registration and maintenance of transport vehicles, equipment and fuel
- Planning and implementing vehicle servicing and maintenance schedules to keep the fleet roadworthy and available
- Allocating vehicles against bookings and planning transport schedules
- Arranging the collection and delivery of vehicles and goods
- Liaising with suppliers, workshops and clients regarding vehicle type, servicing and requirements
- Ensuring goods are stored and transported in conditions that maintain their quality
- Maintaining fleet records and preparing operational statements and reports
- Ensuring compliance with work health and safety and vehicle and driver regulations
About you
- A Diploma-level qualification or above, or at least 3 years of experience in fleet or transport management
- Sound knowledge of vehicle maintenance, registration and compliance
- Strong scheduling and records-management skills
- A current Australian driver licence
