About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior BMS Service Technician to join our Adelaide team.
In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and optimizing Building Management Systems (BMS) across our growing Defence portfolio, along with a variety of commercial and industrial facilities.
This is a field-based position offering autonomy, technical variety, and the opportunity to work with some of Australia's most advanced building automation technologies.
What You'll Be Doing
Performing preventative maintenance, fault finding and repairs on Building Management Systems
Servicing and troubleshooting HVAC controls, lighting controls and energy management systems
Diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues across BMS platforms and associated infrastructure
Working with IT networks, communications systems and control integrations
Preparing quotations and delivering system upgrades, enhancements and modifications
Providing technical support and guidance to customers and facility management teams
Maintaining accurate service records and documentation
Collaborating with internal technical teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes
Managing service activities through client and Defence portals and ensuring timely work completion
What You'll Bring
Proven experience in BMS, controls, HVAC or building automation service
Relevant qualifications in HVAC, Electrical, Mechatronics or Building Automation Systems
Strong understanding of IP networks, communications protocols and system integrations
Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications
Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Strong customer service and communication abilities
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a high-performing team
Current Australian driver's licence
Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance (Baseline minimum)
