Are you looking for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity? Ayers Rock Resort is searching for a
FIFO Fitter to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT which is 20 min drive from Uluru, one of Australia's most iconic and culturally significant landmarks.
We're seeking an experienced
Fitter with trade qualifications in Mechanical Fitting, Fitting and Turning, Boilermaking, Welding, or a related discipline. The successful candidate will have experience maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment and infrastructure in commercial, industrial, or facilities environments.
Experience with gas appliances, boilers, control systems, reticulation systems, and Plumbing and Gas Fitting qualifications will be highly regarded. Candidates with a strong mechanical aptitude and exposure to these systems are encouraged to apply. This role provides an opportunity to work across a broad range of plant and equipment as a valued member of Yulara's Technical Services team.
We are extremely committed to the safety of our employees, guests and community who visit town, this also needs to be a strong focus of you too! As our town is spread across a large range of land, a Valid Australian Open Driver's License is required for all our trades roles.
Key Duties
- Carry out all trade related installations, maintenance and repairs as requested by the Technical Services Management Team in a trade’s person like manner.
- Attend to all trade related construction, repairs and maintenance as requested.
- Maintain accurately the records facility contained within the Preventive Maintenance schedule.
- Ensure efficient productive and safe work practices are applied and all records and time sheets are accurately maintained.
- Carry out all preventative maintenance as per the schedule laid down by the programmed maintenance manuals.

This is a permanent opportunity as a FIFO Tradesperson, seeing you working 10-hour shifts.
