Description:
Digital Marketing Manager
Location: Murarrie, Brisbane
Reporting to: Head of Marketing
Full-time, 12-month contract
Green Leaves Early Learning is a sector-leading early childhood education and care provider offering premium childcare across 75 Centres nationally (and more on the way). Green Leaves children are nurtured in safe, engaging learning and play environments where they explore, grow, and build confidence daily.
The Green Leaves Marketing Team is looking for a Performance Lead to join our ranks for a one-year mat-leave cover to drive our performance strategy. We're a tight team of 8 and a full-function internal agency delivering, innovating and performing miracles daily.
This is a critical role for a commercially minded marketer who knows how to turn data and strategy into measurable growth across content, creative, and organic and paid digital. Working closely with our Head of Marketing, you'll lead strategies that drive occupancy, recruitment, revenue and engagement.
The short of it:
API | campaigns (end-to-end integration) | customer journey | CX | data driven | EDMs | GA4 | Google | HubSpot | lead gen / nurture | LinkedIn | Marketing Cloud | Meta | paid digital | ROI | reporting | Salesforce | SEO (+AI) | tracking | UX | WordPress
No two days look the same, but in this role you’ll:
Design, lead and manage integrated campaigns across occupancy, recruitment, brand and engagement.
Develop data-driven strategies to identify where marketing investment will have the greatest impact.
Set the strategy for agile and responsive digital performance across Google, Meta, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.
Use GA4, Google Ads, Meta, Google Tag Manager, SEO and other performance tools to uncover insights, optimise campaigns and improve conversion.
Lead targeted initiatives designed to drive occupancy, including national campaigns, and referral programs.
Own Green Leaves’ websites through WordPress, managing website strategy, content, functionality, UX, third-party development and continuous improvement.
Manage and elevate campaign and digital strategies, including planning, design, delivery, reporting and evidence-based elevation.
Work with stakeholders, partners and third-party suppliers to deliver best-practice online and in-person experiences.
Use performance data to forecast, plan and report on investment, campaign performance, ROI, business outcomes and future strategies.
Provide clear, commercially focused insights into what's working, what's not and when, where and why we pivot.
Lead continuous improvement through testing, optimisation and evidence-based decision making.
Partner across the wider Marketing Team to bring together content, creative, campaigns, communications, events and organic and paid activity into cohesive, effective customer experiences.
Own the end-to-end customer journey, including lead nurturing, conversion, friction reduction, customer-centric intentionality, automation, and consumer behaviours.
Influence the development and amplification of content across websites, social, EDM, SMS, Storypark and third-party platforms, specifically in response to backlinks, rewarding organic search, and AI-driven changing search models and behaviours.
Continuously look for smarter, better and more effective ways to achieve outcomes.
What you'll bring
We're looking for someone who can comfortably move between the big picture and the detail. Ideally, you'll have:
7+ years' experience in marketing, digital, performance or a similar role.
Energy, curiosity, accountability, and be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment where priorities move, expectations are high and results matter.
Proven experience developing and delivering integrated, data-driven marketing strategies.
Strong working knowledge of Google Ads and Meta Ads, and how paid digital contributes to broader marketing performance.
Strong working knowledge of GA4, Google Tag Manager, SEO, analytics, tracking and conversion optimisation.
Strong working knowledge of Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, HubSpot and WordPress.
Experience managing budgets and making investment decisions based on performance and ROI.
Strong commercial and business acumen, with the ability to connect marketing activity to real business outcomes.
A strong understanding of customer journeys, lead generation and conversion.
Exceptional analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
A relevant degree in Marketing or a similar discipline would be great, but we're much more interested in what you can do, how you think and the results you've delivered.
In return, we offer:
Great culture, great people, and great fun!
Supportive, authentic and kind leadership.
Generous wages + weekly pay.
Savings on childcare fees with our team member discount program.
Access to our exclusive supplier discount program, with great discounts across a range of retailers.
