Grants and Funding Coordination
- Identify, assess and coordinate grant, funding and tender opportunities aligned with C&K's strategic priorities.
- Manage the end-to-end funding lifecycle, including applications, funding agreements, reporting, acquittals and compliance requirements.
- Prepare grant applications, funding submissions, business cases and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with the finance and operations teams the preparation and on time lodgement of funding acquittals.
- Maintain funding registers, pipelines and reporting systems to monitor opportunities, obligations and outcomes.
- Partner with centres and business units to identify funding opportunities and support successful submissions.
Funded Programs, Projects and Stakeholder Engagement
- Coordinate funded programs and related projects to support organisational priorities and growth initiatives.
- Monitor project milestones, deliverables, risks and reporting requirements, supporting effective project governance and delivery.
- Coordinate funding administration activities, including reporting, compliance and budget monitoring.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with funding bodies, government agencies, consultants and internal stakeholders.
Reporting, Systems and Continuous Improvement
- Maintain accurate records, documentation and systems relating to grants, funding agreements and funded programs.
- Prepare reports, insights and recommendations on funding opportunities, project outcomes and compliance requirements.
- Ensure compliance with funding agreements, contractual obligations, audit requirements and organisational governance processes.
- Identify and implement process improvements, templates and tools to enhance grants and funded program management.
- Analyse funding and project data to support planning, decision-making and organisational reporting.
- Promote awareness of funding opportunities and funded program initiatives across C&K.
Experience
- Demonstrated experience coordinating grants, funding programs, tenders or comparable project-based funding initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and assess funding opportunities, and prepare grant applications, submissions, business cases and reports.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and deliver accurate outcomes.
- Experience administering funding agreements, reporting, acquittals and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated success working collaboratively with stakeholders and maintaining accurate records, registers and reporting systems.
Skills
- Strong written communication and documentation skills.
- Well-developed project coordination, planning and organisational skills.
- Strong research, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to interpret funding guidelines, contractual requirements and reporting obligations.
- High attention to detail, with strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document, workflow or project management systems.
- Ability to work independently, exercise initiative and manage competing priorities.
Knowledge
- Knowledge of grants management, funding administration and government funding processes.
- Understanding of governance, compliance, reporting and acquittal requirements relating to funded programs.
- Understanding of project coordination principles and continuous improvement practices.
The successful applicant will be required to:
- Travel as required.
- Hold a Blue Card or Blue Card Exemption Working with Children Check and a current driver’s license.
