Position: BEAUTY THERAPIST (2 POSITIONS)

Amaroo Retreat and Spa is an award-winning luxury retreat located in Mount Helena, surrounded by the natural beauty of the Perth Hills bushland. The retreat features eight exclusive luxury chalets, premium day spa facilities, and a stunning restaurant and bar, offering an exclusive and relaxing guest experience.
We are now seeking 2 full-time beauty therapists. The ideal candidates will have:
- Relevant Australian Certificate III or equivalent along with at least 12 months of full-time experience; or
- 3 years of full-time experience in lieu of the formal qualification
The Beauty Therapist will be responsible for providing professional beauty, skin care and body treatments to clients in accordance with the Spa’s treatment standards and procedures. Main duties include:
- Consulting with clients to assess their individual skin care and beauty needs and recommend suitable treatments;
- Performing customised facial and skin care treatments, including cleansing, exfoliation, masks and hydration treatments;
- Performing a range of body treatments, including body exfoliation, scrubs, wraps and other skin-conditioning treatments;
- Providing professional relaxation and spa massage treatments using appropriate techniques;
- Selecting and applying suitable professional skin care and beauty products according to clients’ individual needs;
- Providing clients with appropriate post-treatment, home-care and skin care advice;
- Maintaining accurate client treatment records and assisting with bookings and appointments; and
- Maintaining treatment rooms, equipment and work areas in accordance with hygiene, safety and professional standards.
- Use complementary therapeutic aids and wellness treatments, where appropriate
- Maintain accurate treatment notes, client records, and appointment history in line with workplace procedures and privacy obligations
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, and hygiene standards to ensure a clean and safe environment
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements, infection control procedures, and professional standards of practice
