Practice Coordinator — Dental Clinic (St Leonards, NSW)

Type: Part-time (4 days/week initially, increasing to pro-rata full-time as the role grows)

We're a modern, fully renovated dental clinic in St Leonards, fitted with the latest equipment and supported by an established, friendly team. Our principal dentist is hands-on, works three clinical days a week, and brings 15 years of experience and high clinical standards. We take a comprehensive approach to care — longer appointments, thorough treatment planning, and genuine long-term relationships with our patients.
We're looking for someone local who wants to put down roots and help us grow the business over the long term. Culture fit matters to us as much as skills.

We're after someone with:
- Excellent English and communication skills
- A happy, outgoing personality — you enjoy a genuine chat, especially with our older patient base
- Reliability, strong organisation, and comfort juggling front desk, admin, and occasional clinical support
- A strong culture fit who shares our commitment to high standards
- Experience with Principle dental software (or the ability to pick it up quickly) — a plus
- Previous dental or healthcare experience — highly regarded
- Ideally live around St Leonards area and a desire to grow into a long-term role
Your Key Responsibilities
- Operations: Manage rosters and KPIs
- Front Desk: Handle general reception, manage appointments, and oversee recalls
- Marketing & Patient Care: Support marketing initiatives and provide exceptional patient care — including following up planned treatment, booking patients in, and generating Google reviews and recommendations
- Clinical roles: maintain infection control and sterilisation protocols, with occasional chairside assisting as required
