We're looking for a compassionate and confident Health & Security Assistant to join our Mental Health team.
This is more than a traditional security role. Working alongside nursing and clinical staff in an acute inpatient mental health setting, you'll help create a safe, supportive and therapeutic environment for patients, staff and
Using your strong communication skills, sound judgement and calm approach, you will support patient care, respond to incidents, assist with unit activities, conduct safety checks and contribute to the overall wellbeing of the unit.

Security experience is essential. Experience in healthcare, mental health or a similar human services environment will be highly regarded.
Where you'll be working
You will be based at Mental Health Inpatient Units, St George Mental Health Service, located on the St George Hospital campus, Kogarah.
The roster includes 10 hour shifts covering mornings, midday and afternoons, with the inclusion of weekends and public holidays, accompanied with attractive penalty rates.
