The Opportunity
Reporting to the ANZ Planning Manager, this role will support the production planning process by maintaining production schedules, coordinating production and inventory activities, and ensuring accurate system data and reporting.
As a Production Scheduling Coordinator, you will work closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Distribution and Sales teams to help facilitate efficient operations, inventory accuracy and on-time customer delivery.
This role would suit someone who is highly organised, thrives on accuracy, takes ownership of their work, and can confidently influence stakeholders and make decisions under pressure
This is a full-time fixed-term opportunity for 12-18 months.
What you’ll do
- Develop, maintain and communicate production schedules that balance customer demand, operational requirements and capacity constraints.
- Monitor production performance, inventory levels and service risks, making timely decisions and escalating issues where required to protect customer supply.
- Build effective working relationships across Production, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Warehousing and Commercial teams to coordinate priorities and drive alignment.
- Maintain accurate planning, inventory and operational data within SAP and other systems, ensuring high standards of data integrity and reporting accuracy.
- Analyse operational and inventory data to identify risks, investigate issues and support informed decision-making.
- Coordinate stocktakes, cycle counts and inventory reconciliation activities, ensuring inventory accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Prepare and communicate operational reports, insights and recommendations to support business performance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Take ownership of planning and inventory-related activities, managing competing priorities and delivering outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
- Participate in daily operational meetings and contribute to safety, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
What you’ll bring
- Demonstrated experience in a manufacturing, operational, administration, inventory, logistics or customer service environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with a strong focus on accuracy, data integrity and following established processes.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities and consistently deliver outcomes with minimal supervision.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment, particularly when faced with conflicting priorities or time pressures.
- Proven ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders and work effectively across multiple functions and levels of the business.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to challenge, escalate and drive actions when required.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills, with the ability to analyse data and prepare reports.
- Experience using SAP or a similar ERP system would be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain records, reports and operational data with a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
