The Opportunity
Reporting to the ANZ Planning Manager, this role will support the production planning process by maintaining production schedules, coordinating production and inventory activities, and ensuring accurate system data and reporting.
As a Production Scheduling Coordinator, you will work closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Distribution and Sales teams to help facilitate efficient operations, inventory accuracy and on-time customer delivery.
This is a full-time fixed-term opportunity for 12-18 months.
What you’ll do
- Support the preparation, maintenance and communication of production schedules to meet customer demand and operational requirements.
- Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Supply Chain and Sales teams to communicate schedule changes and coordinate planning activities.
- Maintain accurate production, inventory, and planning data within SAP and other systems, ensuring reporting accuracy and data integrity.
- Monitor schedule adherence, inventory levels and stock availability, escalating potential risks or issues to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Coordinate and participate in stocktakes, cycle counts and inventory reconciliation activities to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Prepare production, inventory, and performance reports, providing timely information to support operational decision-making.
- Participate in daily operational meetings and contribute to continuous improvement, safety, and compliance initiatives.
What you’ll bring
- Certificate, Diploma or tertiary qualification in Business, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering or a related discipline preferred.
- Relevant training in production planning, inventory management, ERP systems or business administration will be highly regarded.
- Experience in a production support, planning coordination, administration, inventory control or manufacturing support role.
- Experience within a manufacturing, industrial or operational environment preferred.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills and experience using SAP or a similar ERP system.
- Experience maintaining records, reports and operational data with high attention to detail and a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate tasks across multiple stakeholders and functions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Commitment to workplace health and safety practices.
