400 Gradi Norwood is looking for experienced Restaurant Supervisors to join our Front of House leadership team.
As Adelaide moves out of winter and into the busier spring and summer months, we’re building our leadership team with secure, ongoing permanent part-time roles.
For the right person, this role also offers training and development towards future Assistant Venue Manager opportunities within Gradi Group.
This is a great fit for an experienced hospitality professional who wants to keep progressing into management while retaining the flexibility of part-time work including university students with strong restaurant experience.
Required
- At least 2 years’ experience in full-service restaurant or hospitality environments
- Previous experience as a Restaurant Supervisor, Shift Leader, Duty Manager, Senior Waitstaff or similar
- Confidence leading a FOH team during busy services
- Current South Australian RSA
- Current Responsible Person approval/badge
- Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate, or willingness to obtain where appropriate
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Availability for at least one regular shift per week
- Availability across evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
- Full Australian working rights
Salary
Restaurant Industry Award Level 3 or Level 4 – $27.97 to $29.45 per hour + superannuation + applicable penalty rates, depending on experience and classification.
Permanent Part-Time
Minimum 8 guaranteed hours per week

What you’ll do
You’ll work closely with the Venue Manager and help lead the restaurant from the floor.
- Lead and support the FOH team during service
- Coordinate sections and keep service running smoothly
- Train and guide newer team members in “The Gradi Way”
- Maintain high guest-service standards
- Handle guest feedback and resolve issues
- Complete opening, closing and cash-handling duties
- Work closely with the kitchen and bar
- Support RSA, food-safety and workplace standards
- Develop your leadership and venue-management skills
