The Role (Lead HD Mechanic)
As a floor lead you will be an integral part of the team directly on the floor with the ability to lead, give direction & hook in!

Focused specialised work on machine chassis rebuilds on CAT Haul & Ancil Gear: Dozers, Loaders, Graders & a variety of leading OEM's

Responsible for leading major workshop scopes

Liaise with vendors to ensure consistency of site spec installs

Ability to provide mentorship and guidance to team members to increase overall product knowledge & skill set

Efficient in parts ordering & returning components

Maintenance of parts lay down & Update of parts in/out

Ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime
Our workshop (3500sqm facility) handles a large variety of work from OEM equipment (CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi & More) to various machines (dump trucks, loaders, dozers & more).
We offer a 10-hour day Monday to Friday and the option to do additional hours. No Night shifts!
What You'll Need?

Australian Recognised Heavy Trade Qualification.

Valid Australian Driver's licence (Minimum C Class).

5+ years' experience working with OEM Equipment – Liebherr, Hitachi, Komatsu, CAT.

High-Risk Work Licence.
-
Ability to complete a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening.
