About the role
The School Sport Finance Officer provides financial and administrative support for the School Sport Unit. This includes assisting with payroll, procurement, asset management and fleet vehicle administration to ensure efficient service delivery, compliance and continuous improvement across core business functions
Key accountabilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and reports using MYOB to support timely decision-making.
- Process payroll, procurement, assets and other financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Support month-end and year-end financial reporting, reconciliations and audit requirements.
- Prepare management reports and financial insights to support business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with financial legislation, policies and governance requirements.
- Monitor fleet vehicle usage and mileage to ensure compliance with policy.

Essential requirements of the role
- Current and valid Working with Children Check Clearance for paid employment.
- Proven experience using MYOB Software.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
