The Role As an HVAC Service Technician, you’ll install, maintain, repair and overhaul a wide range of HVAC and refrigeration systems across residential sites. You’ll work both independently and within a supportive team, delivering safe, efficient and high‑quality outcomes for customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Installing, maintaining and repairing HVAC systems, valves, pumps and refrigeration equipment
- Diagnosing electrical, mechanical, digital and pneumatic faults
- Completing planned maintenance, warranty work and service reports
- Preparing accurate quotes, estimates and invoices
- Recording job details and maintenance notes in SimPRO
- Providing guidance and supervision to apprentices
- Delivering clear communication and a customer‑first service experience
- Upholding WHS, environmental and quality standards at all times
What You’ll Bring
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in an HVAC service role
- Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service capability
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Commitment to safe work practices and high‑quality workmanship
Essential Licences & Qualifications
- Refrigerant Handling Licence
- White Card
- Current C‑Class Driver’s Licence
- Asbestos Awareness & Working Safely with ACMs
- Working in Confined Spaces
- Working Safely at Heights
- Solid knowledge of HVAC/refrigeration tools, materials and test equipment (Additional upskilling can be provided.)
