What your day could look like
As Principal Project Manager - Construction, you'll play a key role in delivering projects that enhance healthcare environments and support better experiences for patients, staff and communities. Every day, you'll contribute by:
Leading complex construction projects that deliver safe, sustainable and future-focused health infrastructure.
Bringing together contractors, consultants and stakeholders to achieve shared goals and successful project outcomes.
Managing project performance, budgets and risks to ensure delivery remains on track and aligned with strategic priorities.
Providing expert advice and innovative solutions that support informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
Let's talk about you!
You're someone who combines technical expertise with strong leadership and relationship-building skills. You thrive in complex environments, bring people together around a common vision, and approach challenges with confidence, integrity and a solutions-focused mindset. You'll take pride in delivering projects that create meaningful benefits for communities while fostering collaboration, innovation and accountability. You're not just here to deliver buildings, you're here to help create environments where great healthcare can flourish.
Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
Extensive experience leading complex construction or infrastructure projects from planning through to delivery.
Strong project management, financial management and risk management capability.
Highly developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and build trusted partnerships.
A collaborative leadership style that reflects compassion, integrity, dignity, innovation and courage.
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have a qualification in a construction-related discipline such as architecture, engineering or a similar field, and/or experience delivering major projects in large, complex organisations.
