What you'll be doing
As a Speech Pathologist Level 1/2, you will provide evidence-based assessment and intervention for patients experiencing communication and swallowing disorders. Working across paediatric and adult services, you will deliver high-quality clinical care while contributing to service development, education and quality improvement initiatives.
Assess, diagnose and provide evidence-based treatment for communication and swallowing disorders across a range of clinical areas
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, using effective clinical handover and communication practices
Maintain accurate clinical documentation, reporting and caseload management in line with departmental standards
Participate in research, health promotion, student education, supervision and ongoing professional development activities
Support person-centred care, quality improvement and patient safety initiatives across the service
