Cadence Connect has partnered exclusively with a leading ASX-listed organisation to find a Senior Infrastructure Engineer for their internal IT team. This infrastructure supports hundreds of thousands of customers every day, and the team is delivering a new three-year IT strategy right now.
About the Role
Take ownership of core infrastructure across on-premise hypervisors, Linux server fleets and AWS environments. You'll be the final escalation point for complex infrastructure, identity and endpoint issues, and 2IC to the Infrastructure Team Lead.
Duties
- Own Linux server administration across on-prem hypervisors and AWS
- Administer and harden Entra ID (Azure AD) and Active Directory
- Lead incident response end-to-end, root cause through to permanent fix
- Automate provisioning, patching, monitoring and compliance
- Maintain infrastructure documentation and drive DR readiness
Skills & Experience
- 8+ years in infrastructure engineering or systems administration
- Strong Linux administration, plus AWS and hypervisor experience (KVM, VMware)
- Entra ID / Azure AD, including SSO via SAML/OIDC
- Scripting and automation (Bash, PowerShell)
- Strong networking fundamentals (VLANs, segmentation, firewalls)
