ICT Business Analyst (Supply Chain)

About the Role
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand operational requirements and identify opportunities for process improvement across the organisation. You will analyse business processes, gather and document requirements, and collaborate with software developers and external technology partners to deliver effective ICT solutions.
This role will be heavily involved in our supply chain systems migration, CRM redevelopment and ongoing business systems improvements, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working on business transformation initiatives.
What You'll Be Doing
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand operational requirements and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Analyse existing business processes and document current ("as-is") and future ("to-be") workflows.
- Gather, document and validate business, functional and system requirements.
- Develop business requirements documents, functional specifications, process maps and user stories.
- Support the migration from Unleashed to Cin7 by assisting with business process analysis, system configuration, data validation, user acceptance testing and implementation activities.
- Participate in the redevelopment and continuous improvement of Solar Battery Group's in-house CRM platform by identifying business needs and supporting solution design.
- Liaise with AI engineers, external vendors and project teams to ensure solutions meet business objectives.
- Assist with system integration, testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and post-implementation support.
- Prepare user documentation, training materials and operational procedures.
- Monitor implemented solutions and recommend continuous improvements to business systems and processes.
- Assist in analysing business data and reporting requirements to support informed decision making.
- Ensure ICT solutions align with organisational policies, security requirements and business objectives.
About You
You'll be someone who enjoys working with data, thrives on accuracy, and has a natural ability to identify problems before they become bigger issues.
You'll also bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Information Systems or a related discipline.
- Approximately 1 year of experience in an ICT Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst or similar ICT-related role.
- Demonstrated ability to gather and document business requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and contribute to business improvement initiatives.
