DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The employee shall fulfill the responsibilities of assembling & delivery and perform duties as assigned by the management. These duties may change based on operational requirements. Below are some of the duties:
- Unboxing and Installation: Unboxing and assembly of office furniture at client locations or home location, ensuring that installations meet specifications and customer satisfaction.
- Problem Solving: Cultivate a proactive approach to troubleshooting challenges during assembly or installation, encouraging team members to think creatively for solutions.
- Tool Maintenance: Oversee the upkeep and maintenance of company tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order and readily available for use.
- Safe Delivery: Safe transportation of furniture using the company’s vehicle ensuring all items are secured and protected during transit.
- Maintain company vehicle – Fill up fuel and keep it tidy at all times.
- Quality Control: Establish and enforce quality control standards for assembly and delivery processes, ensuring that services meet company and client expectations.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure that all assembly and delivery activities comply with health and safety regulations, implementing safety training for team members.
- Tool Usage: Use basic upholstery tools and machinery safely and efficiently with training provided as needed.
- Material Handling: Handle and store fabrics, foam, and other upholstery materials appropriately to avoid damage.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure all upholstery work meets quality and aesthetic standards.
- Requires reasonable physical effort including stopping, bending and frequent lifting of heavy items from trucks into houses and offices, upstairs and over unmade surfaces.
· You will be required to perform your duties at 2/103 Fitzgerald road Lavertorn North , VIC or elsewhere as reasonably directed by the employer.
Pay: $28.00 – $32.00 per hour
