About this Position:
As a Lifeguard, you will play an important role in creating a safe, welcoming and enjoyable environment for patrons at the Goonellabah Sports & Aquatic Centre and Lismore Memorial Baths. Working across both facilities, you will be responsible for monitoring pool activities, promoting safe patron behaviour and responding effectively to incidents and emergencies.
In addition to maintaining a safe aquatic environment, you will contribute to the day-to-day presentation and operation of the facilities by assisting with cleaning, maintenance and customer service activities. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about aquatics, enjoys working with the community and is committed to delivering a high standard of service and safety.

Full position description:
Part-Time Maximum Term Contract: 22 Hours per week – Contract ending 21 May 2027.
Salary: A salary range from $32.5711 - $34.5253 per hour + superannuation

Conditions of Employment: Conditions of employment are in the Local Government (State) Award and relevant Council policy, procedures and agreements OR Conditions of employment are in the Lismore City Council Goonellabah Sports and Aquatic Centre and Lismore Memorial Baths Enterprise Agreement 2015 (Agreement), and relevant Council policy, procedures and agreements.

This is a requirement for this position and it is the responsibility of the successful applicant to have undertaken the WWCC and the 'Clearance to Work with Children' provided to Council prior to commencement.
