WesTrac is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Parts Sales Coordinator to join our Dubbo team. As a key member of the Parts department, you'll play an important role in delivering outstanding service to our customers by identifying parts requirements, providing accurate advice, and ensuring timely order fulfilment. Working closely with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders, you'll help maximise equipment uptime by delivering efficient and reliable parts solutions. This is a fast-paced, customer-facing role that combines sales, administration and operational support. You'll be responsible for managing parts enquiries, processing orders, maintaining strong customer relationships and identifying opportunities to grow parts sales across the region. The position operates on a 50-hour work week, includes participation in a rotating on-call roster, and involves working one Saturday per month to support customer needs.
Key responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and technical parts advice to external and internal customers.
- Process parts enquiries, quotes, sales orders and invoicing accurately and efficiently.
- Identify customer needs and proactively promote parts and service solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to support repeat business and long-term growth.
- Work closely with warehouse, service and sales teams to ensure timely delivery of parts and positive customer outcomes.
- Participate in a rotating on-call roster and support branch operations through one Saturday shift per month.
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in parts interpreting, parts sales, customer service or a similar role.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when processing orders, quotes and inventory information.
- Sound computer skills with experience using ERP, inventory or business management systems.
- Knowledge of the mining, construction, agricultural, automotive or heavy equipment industries will be highly regarded.
