This is a meaningful role where you'll help with basic domestic assistance, and bring a little joy to someone's day who may need it most.
About the location
This role covers both Byron Bay and Lismore. You'll be rostered to either location depending on where our clients need support, so you'll need to be able to travel to and work in both.
Your day will include
- Light domestic cleaning: vacuuming, mopping, dusting, bathrooms and kitchen
- Other light domestic tasks and general household upkeep
- Monitoring client welfare
- Respectful, friendly conversation with clients
- Reporting or flagging any concerns or emergencies via form submission
What we need from you
- Ability to work across both Byron Bay and Lismore
- Registered, insured and reliable motor vehicle (minimum third party insurance)
- Valid, unrestricted driver's licence
- Full working rights in Australia
- Smart phone with the capacity to download and use apps, plus access to mobile data
- Valid National Police Check (or willingness to obtain at your own cost)
- Valid Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain at your own cost)
- Valid First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009) Certificate (or willingness to obtain at your own cost)
- Aged Care Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain at your own cost)
- Happy, friendly attitude
- Solid communication skills
- Genuine care for our clients and their wellbeing, and willingness to go the extra mile when needed
- Reliability and consistency — our clients rely on us for the things they can no longer do, which means they need us to show up, as often as we can

Please note: This is a daytime-only position, with work hours from 9:00am–4:30pm Monday to Friday. No weekends or nights. Rostered days may be in either Byron Bay or Lismore, and travelling to your rostered location is part of the role.
