We’re looking for reliable, hardworking and experienced Public Area Attendants, Housemen and Room Attendants to join our hospitality team in Cairns City, Queensland.

MINIMUM 3 MONTHS’ RELEVANT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
This role is suited to people who already have experience in hotel housekeeping, room attendant, public area cleaning or houseman duties and are ready to join a professional team.

YOUR ROLE
You'll be an important part of the housekeeping operation, helping make sure our guests experience a clean, comfortable and welcoming hotel.
Your responsibilities may include:

Cleaning and servicing guest rooms
- Cleaning bathrooms to a high standard
- Maintaining corridors and public areas
- Cleaning lobbies, lifts and hallways
- Changing linen and towels
- Replenishing guest amenities and supplies
- Assisting with linen deliveries
- Removing rubbish and keeping work areas clean
- Restocking housekeeping supplies
- Supporting laundry operations when required
- Reporting maintenance issues, damages and safety hazards
- Responding to guest requests professionally
- Working closely with supervisors and the wider housekeeping team
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You must have:
✅ Minimum 3 months' relevant housekeeping or hotel cleaning experience
✅ Good understanding of hotel cleanliness standards
✅ Strong attention to detail
✅ Good communication skills
✅ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
✅ Good time-management skills
✅ Physically capable of manual handling and active duties
✅ Reliable, punctual and well presented
✅ Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays
CITIZENSHIP / WORK RIGHTS
Australian citizenship is preferred for this role.
Working Holiday Visa Holders are accepted as long as planning to stay 6 months in Cairns.
