Hix Group is requiring a Leading Hand within our I.T.S Civil team to be involved in a range of projects including:
- Installation and Maintenance of Traffic Signals
- Road lighting
- Concreting of foundations & minor earth works
- Pit & pipe work
In addition to a range of experience in these areas, you will be required to lead the onsite crew whilst showing a high standard of workmanship and service with a strong focus on safety and company culture
You will liaise with the Supervisor and be responsible for planning, organising, coordinating and controlling the works on the ground, to maximise the safety & quality, outcomes and timelines for our works.
What you will bring:
- Leadership qualities and self motivation
- Attention to detail and pride in all aspects of the work produced by yourself and the crew
- Experience with:
- Installing conduits, cable hauling, pits and footings
- Traffic signal infrastructure
- Experience in working with TfNSW, Local Council and Government entities
- Strong communication skills, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow company procedures in relation to documentation and compliance-Quality, WHS & Environmental Management
- Current Drivers License - MR/HR preferred
- Excavator VOC
- Willingness to work a range of shifts
