Details: An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced financial systems professional to join the Strategic Finance team within the Chief Minister, Treasury and Economic Development Directorate.
In this leadership role, you will oversee a high-performing team responsible for the management, enhancement and optimisation of financial systems. You will play a key role in harnessing the value of financial data, driving the effective use of technology solutions, and identifying opportunities to improve business processes and decision-making.
Working collaboratively with business areas across the Directorate, you will support greater understanding and analysis of financial information, strengthen system governance and controls, and identify risks and opportunities to enhance the way we work. Through your leadership, you will help deliver innovative, data-driven solutions that improve efficiency, insight and organisational outcomes.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or a related field along with professional membership or progress thereto of a peak Australian accounting body such as CPA/CAANZ is highly desirable.

Previous experience working with complex datasets and financial information management systems, in particular TM1, Oracle and CDM would be an advantage.
Note: A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
