Home & Beyond Nursing & Care is looking for an experienced and caring Registered Nurse to join our small community nursing team on a casual basis.
We provide nursing care to clients in their own homes across Melbourne, predominantly in the eastern, south-eastern, inner Melbourne and Bayside areas.
This position would suit an experienced RN looking for flexible casual work, including someone already working part-time who would like additional community nursing hours.
About the role
We are particularly looking for an RN who is experienced and confident in:
- SPC changes and management
- IDC changes and catheter care
- Wound assessment and wound management
- Community and/or aged-care nursing
- Working independently in clients’ homes
- Clinical documentation and communication with GPs, specialists, care partners and families
Experience in continence care, palliative/end-of-life care and Support at Home nursing would be highly regarded.
Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Current police check
- Professional indemnity/public liability insurance
- Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
- Ability to work autonomously and make sound clinical decisions
- Warm, professional and reliable approach to clients and families
Pay & hours
Casual rate: $50–$60 per hour, inclusive of 25% casual loading, plus superannuation.
Hours are flexible, with the opportunity for ongoing regular work as our service continues to grow.
Community-based travel between clients may be required depending on the day's schedule.
