Company Overview
Sydney Shade Sails (NSW) Pty Ltd is a leading force in the NSW shade industry, specialising in the design, fabrication, and installation of premium shade structures, sails, and architectural COLAs. Based out of our Riverwood factory, we service a highly varied pipeline predominantly across greater Sydney, with select projects in regional NSW. While we handle premium residential work, the majority of our portfolio consists of medium-to-large commercial, school, and council projects. We are currently expanding into basketball court-sized tensile membrane structures—offering an exciting, long-term opportunity for a tradesperson who thrives on variety and technical challenge.
About the Role & Project Variety
Working directly alongside our experienced Lead Installer, this is a hands-on structural role. It is ideal for a competent tradesperson or experienced installer who enjoys outdoor physical work and problem-solving on-site.
Note on Travel: Our projects are mostly Sydney-based; however, we service regional NSW clients several times a year. These regional trips generally last between 2 to 5 days, and all travel expenses, comfortable accommodation, and daily meal allowances are company-funded. This provides a great opportunity to break up the city routine, earn over-time, and work in different environments. As our commercial division expands into larger sports structures, these regional opportunities may increase over time.
