HR Truck Driver – Ozscaf

Ozscaf is looking for a reliable and hardworking HR Truck Driver to join our team.
This is a hands-on role involving more than just driving. The successful applicant will assist with the loading, delivery and collection of scaffolding equipment, work in our yard, and help our site crews when required.
The truck is fitted with a rear-loading forklift, allowing the driver to independently load and unload scaffold equipment at sites where required.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive HR trucks to deliver and collect scaffolding equipment across Sydney.
- Load and unload trucks safely on site and in the yard.
- Secure loads correctly and ensure all equipment is transported safely.
- Assist with general yard duties, including organising, sorting and preparing scaffold equipment.
- Operate a forklift for loading and unloading.
- Assist with scaffold labouring on site when required.
- Complete basic vehicle checks and keep trucks clean and well maintained.
- Follow all company safety procedures and road transport requirements.
- Communicate with site supervisors and scaffolders to ensure deliveries are completed efficiently.
Requirements
- Current HR Driver Licence.
- Current Forklift Licence.
- Good driving record.
- Experience driving HR trucks and transporting construction materials or equipment preferred.
- Physically fit and comfortable performing manual labour.
- Reliable, punctual and willing to work as part of a team.
- Good understanding of load restraint and safe loading practices.
- Construction White Card.
Advantageous
- Basic, Intermediate or Advanced Scaffolding High Risk Work Licence.
- Previous scaffolding experience.
- Experience working in construction or civil environments.
- Experience loading and unloading scaffold or similar heavy construction equipment.
