The Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hand to join our team at Tamborine Mountain Glades.
This is a hands-on role supporting our chefs and kitchen team to keep service running smoothly. You will play an important part in maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen across our restaurant, café, weddings, conferences and events.
Key responsibilities include:

Washing dishes, cookware and kitchen equipment
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation throughout the kitchen
- Cleaning kitchen surfaces, floors and work areas
- Assisting with basic food preparation when required
- Receiving, moving and storing kitchen supplies
- Supporting chefs and the wider kitchen team during busy service periods
- Following food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures
- Assisting with functions, weddings, conferences and special events
About You
We are looking for someone who is:

Reliable, punctual and ready to work
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced kitchen
- Physically capable of being on their feet and completing manual tasks throughout a shift
- Organised and able to work efficiently
- Positive, respectful and willing to help the team
- Able to follow instructions and maintain high cleanliness standards
- Flexible to work across weekdays, weekends and public holidays as required
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen, restaurant or hospitality environment is an advantage, but attitude and reliability are most important.
