Play a key role in managing and enhancing Council's infrastructure networks, including buildings, aquatic facilities, parks, stormwater and transport assets. This varied position combines asset management, capital program delivery, inspections and customer request management to support safe, reliable and sustainable infrastructure outcomes for the community.

- Manage and improve Council's buildings, aquatic facilities, parks, stormwater and transport infrastructure
- Conduct asset inspections and identify maintenance and renewal priorities
- Develop and support capital works projects, from planning and scoping through to delivery
- Provide practical solutions to customer requests and infrastructure related issues
- Contribute to asset management planning, grant funding applications and long-term infrastructure strategies including preparing reports to support decisions
- Coordinate contractors, consultants and stakeholders to deliver quality outcomes for the community
About you:
You will bring a combination of technical expertise, practical asset management experience and strong stakeholder engagement skills and be comfortable working across a diverse infrastructure portfolio, managing competing priorities and delivering practical solutions for the community.
- Degree in Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent skills and experience
- Experience in infrastructure, civil construction and/or asset management with knowledge of asset inspections, condition assessments and maintenance planning
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships and resolve issues effectively
- Experience using Asset and Maintenance Management Systems (TechnologyOne, GIS or similar) and Microsoft Office suite
- Current General Induction for Construction Work Certificate (White Card) or the ability to obtain prior to commencement
