Our Townsville Home and Community service is seeking a part-time Support Services Worker . Our Support Services Workers provide invaluable support by providing general household cleaning, laundry, cooking and social support to our older population with help around their homes.
About you:
- Comfortable in the use of housekeeping equipment
- Clear communicator who can maintain professional boundaries with clients and their families
- Demonstrated ability to be able to work independently and effectively with the elderly
- A Certificate II or III in Asset Maintenance (Cleaning Operations) will be highly regarded but not required
- The physical demands of this role may include standing, stooping, crouching, kneeling, reaching etc.
Mandatory requirements:
- Current Driver Licence and your own reliable vehicle
- A current National Police Certificate OR NDIS Clearance
