Fighting Chance is on the lookout for an internal Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage the end-to-end recruitment activities for Fighting Chance. By partnering closely with our hiring managers you will ensure everyone that joins Fighting Chance can make a positive difference in the lives of our participants.
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist you will be tasked with delivering end-to-end recruitment services across a broad range of positions. In this role, you will build value-adding professional relationships, develop and maintain highly effective attraction and sourcing strategies and provide candidates with a great experience throughout the process.

Fighting Chance designs, builds and scales social enterprises which move the dial for Australians with disability and their families. We work to identify the challenges, hurdles and barriers faced by people with disability in their everyday lives and then design and build sustainable social enterprise businesses to bridge these gaps. ABOUT THE ROLE
The key focus of the role will be:
-
Partnering with hiring managers to develop a strong understanding of their roles, teams and culture and provide quality recruitment advice, guidance and recommendations
- Managing end-to-end recruitment activities across all hiring levels within all FC enterprises
- Creating a positive candidate experience across the full recruitment process.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have/be:

Experience in an (internal) recruitment role and/or an HR administration role
- Experience with HRIS and ATS systems, preferably Employment Hero is very helpful
- Not afraid of high volume workloads - in fact this should give you a buzz!
- A genuine love for connecting with and supporting a diverse audience
- A desire to build great candidate and employee experiences
- A positive attitude and ability to take ownership, even if you don’t have all the answers
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- A good eye for process management and process improvement and experience (or willingness to learn) several information systems (Employment Hero, Monday.com)
- Experience with professional platforms and social channels to attract talent
- Exceptional time-management and organisational skills
- Strong relationship building skills; a true partner for stakeholders at all levels
- Possess or be willing to obtain a NDIS Worker Screening Check and a Working with Children Check.
