We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong understanding of the solar and battery energy storage industry to join our team in Melbourne.
This role is suitable for someone who has previous experience in the solar, battery, renewable energy or related industry and understands how residential solar and battery projects work from initial customer enquiry through to quotation, installation and after-sales support.
The ideal candidate does not necessarily need to be an electrician or installer. We are particularly interested in someone who understands the industry, products, system structures, pricing and project processes, and who is confident communicating with customers and coordinating with installers and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with customers and understand their solar and battery requirements
- Recommend suitable Solar PV, battery storage, inverter and related solutions
- Prepare, review and explain quotations to customers
- Understand pricing structures, equipment costs, installation costs and project margins
- Follow up enquiries and sales leads and support customers throughout the sales process
- Coordinate with installers, electricians, suppliers and customers
- Assist with project scheduling and follow-up
- Maintain strong customer relationships and provide after-sales support
- Keep up to date with products, industry developments and the Victorian solar and battery market
- Support business development and identify potential sales opportunities
Requirements
- Previous experience in the solar, battery, renewable energy or closely related industry
- Good understanding of residential Solar PV and battery storage systems
- Familiarity with solar/battery products, system structures and project processes
- Experience with quotations, pricing, sales, customer consultation or project coordination
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to communicate in both English and Mandarin Chinese
- Good organisational skills and ability to coordinate multiple projects/customers
- Valid Australian working rights
Highly Regarded but Not Essential
- Previous experience in the Australian or Victorian solar and battery industry
- Experience with EV chargers
- Knowledge of Victorian solar/battery regulations and industry requirements
- Solar/battery technical or electrical background
- Victorian A Grade Electrical Licence
- SAA GCPV accreditation
- SAA GCBS accreditation
Location: Melbourne / Greater Melbourne, VIC（most time）

Salary: Competitive remuneration based on relevant industry experience and capability.
