What this opportunity involves:
As a Facilities Manager for JLL's Australia Post account, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional facilities services across a diverse portfolio. This position requires you to oversee the operation and maintenance of allocated properties, ensuring seamless delivery of service expectations while maintaining strict compliance with regulations and client requirements.

You'll manage relationships with key stakeholders, coordinate vendor services, and ensure all facilities meet health, safety, and compliance standards. This role demands both strategic thinking and hands-on involvement, from conducting building inspections to delivering facilities projects within agreed budgets. With a 24-hour call-out requirement and regular site travel, you'll be empowered to take ownership of your portfolio while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
An overview of the role: Develop and manage strong relationships with Australia Post stakeholders to exceed service delivery expectations and facilitate smooth operations
Conduct regular building inspections across your allocated portfolio and complete comprehensive reports within governance timeframes
Oversee vendor management and coordinate facilities works in conjunction with the JLL Projects & Development Services team
Monitor Help Desk outputs and service performance against key performance indicators, ensuring targets are consistently met or exceeded
Ensure full compliance with statutory regulations including fire, health, and safety standards to maintain safe environments across all sites
Deliver facilities-related projects in line with approved budgets and work plans while maintaining close communication with affected business units
Analyze and interpret operational data to create clear, logical reports for presentation to senior management and key stakeholders
Travel regularly across the allocated portfolio to provide on-site oversight and address facilities requirements as they arise
Sounds like you? This is what we are looking for: 3-7 years of proven experience in corporate real estate or facilities management roles
Demonstrated ability to interpret and analyze numerical data with exceptional attention to detail
Proficiency in MS Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Current and valid Driver's License for regular travel to portfolio sites
Strong customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage with diverse stakeholders
Understanding of reactive and routine maintenance requirements, including availability for 24-hour call-out contact
Experience with front and back office processes and strong administrative capabilities, preferably in facilities management
Tertiary qualifications in Property, Facilities Management, or Trade-related fields (desirable)
Knowledge of local occupational health and safety requirements and critical facilities operations (desirable)
