Eventide Home is an 80-bed residential aged care facility in Rockhampton, providing compassionate, person-centred care in a welcoming, home-like environment. The service supports residents with a range of complex care needs, including psychogeriatric care, cognitive impairment and high-level residential care.

About the role:
Provide compassionate, person-centred nursing care to older residents with complex health needs, including dementia, cognitive impairment and psychogeriatric conditions.
Coordinate admissions, discharges and ongoing care in partnership with families and the multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity and quality of care.
Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate individualised care that promotes residents' dignity, comfort, safety and quality of life.
Support a safe, therapeutic environment by advocating for residents' rights, responding to complex behaviours and maintaining high clinical and professional standards.
About you:
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a current practising certificate is mandatory.
Demonstrated ability to assess, plan, deliver and evaluate high-quality care for older people with complex health, dementia and cognitive care needs.
Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous quality improvement to enhance resident outcomes.
Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to supervise Enrolled Nurses and Assistants in Nursing while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
What we offer:
An hourly rate between $55.07 - $70.54 p.h. (including 25% casual loading)
