Step into a fast‑paced procurement role where you’ll keep everything moving — quotes, tenders, supplier checks, and PO management. This permanent Perth‑based role sits within a respected, 100% Aboriginal female‑owned organisation with strong values and a supportive team culture.
You’ll work closely with Finance, Operations, HSEQ and Project teams to keep procurement running smoothly, accurately, and in line with policy. If you thrive on structure, clear processes, and getting things right the first time, you’ll feel at home here.
You’ll join a well‑established procurement function with a tiered approval framework, where attention to detail and process discipline matter. You’ll also contribute to continuous improvement to help refine systems and lift efficiency across the team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities across the tiered approval framework, from obtaining quotes and supporting tenders through to raising purchase orders
- Coordinate supplier communications throughout the procurement process, ensuring all parties receive accurate, timely information
- Identify and document conflicts of interest in line with the organisation’s conflict-of-interest procedures
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date procurement and supplier records, including vendor system setup, documentation, and supplier due diligence and compliance
- Monitor supplier and subcontractor agreements and KPIs
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support month-end activities
What You’ll Bring
- Previous experience in purchasing, procurement or supply chain within a contracting environment
- Strong Excel skills, with the ability to report, analyse and manage data confidently
- Experience with ERP systems; familiarity with Business Central highly regarded
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Confident communicator with a track record of building strong supplier relationships
- A positive, proactive and solutions-focused approach
