Western Sydney Line Marking is looking to add a project manager/estimator to our ever expanding team. We provide line marking and signage services for a variety of industries throughout NSW. Our warehouse is located in Seven Hills, Sydney.
The perfect candidate will have experience and knowledge of line marking or civil works. However this is not a must as on the job training will be provided. Past experience in project management and estimating/sales is a must for this role.
We are a small family run business that values its employees, as such we are looking for someone who can work as part of the team but is also driven in their role to help the company expand its client base and steam line its operations.
Note that you must have a drivers licence and a reliable car. At times he role will involve attending sites, quotes and jobs. A vehicle is not provided, however a fuel card and a car allowance will be part of the package provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Estimation: Accurately estimating project costs, including materials, labour, and other expenses.
- Closing sales: Develop/implement a sales process and actively work to close all warm leads that come in through our marketing streams.
- Project Planning: Developing comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Project Execution: Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the project, coordinating teams, and ensuring that the project is completed according to plan. This will at times include attending site with our tradesman to ensure the project is understood by all involved in its execution
- Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on the project.
- Communication: Effectively communicating with stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and team members, regarding project progress, budget, and potential issues.
- Subcontractor and Supplier Negotiation: Negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favourable pricing and terms.

- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and cost estimation techniques.
- Project Management Skills: Ability to plan, organize, and execute projects effectively, including scheduling, resource management, and risk assessment.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with various stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
- Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate effectively with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain the best possible pricing.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues that may arise during the project lifecycle
