We are seeking a passionate and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our growing team. This is a clinic and community-based role, providing the flexibility to work from our Caroline Springs clinic as well as within participants' homes, schools, workplaces, and community environments.

About the Role
As an Occupational Therapist with The Collective Network, you will work with NDIS participants across a diverse range of ages and support needs. You will have the opportunity to provide both clinic-based and community-based therapy, allowing you to build strong relationships with participants and provide practical, meaningful interventions in the environments where they live and participate.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting Occupational Therapy assessments and Functional Capacity Assessments (FCAs)
- Developing and implementing evidence-based, person-centred intervention plans
- Providing therapy within the clinic and community settings
- Prescribing assistive technology and providing equipment recommendations
- Assessing and recommending home modifications
- Supporting participants to achieve their individual goals and maximise independence
- Preparing high-quality clinical reports and documentation
- Collaborating with participants, families, support coordinators, educators, support workers, and other healthcare professionals
- Working alongside and providing guidance to Allied Health Assistants (AHAs) to support therapy implementation
- Monitoring participant progress and reviewing intervention plans as required
- Managing a diverse caseload across children, adolescents, adults, and older adults
About You
You are a compassionate, motivated, and client-focused Occupational Therapist who enjoys building genuine relationships with participants and their support networks.
You are comfortable working independently while also being part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team. You have a strong commitment to person-centred practice and enjoy finding practical and creative ways to support people to achieve their goals.
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current National Police Check
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desirable Experience
- Experience working within the NDIS
- Experience conducting Functional Capacity Assessments and clinical report writing
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and families
- Community-based Occupational Therapy experience
- Experience prescribing assistive technology and recommending home modifications
