Your Next Role
We're looking for a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our team at our Kilcoy site. This is a hands-on role where you'll play a key part in keeping our warehouse and transport operations running smoothly.
You'll be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, organising stock, supporting inventory management, and ensuring afternoon truck collections are prepared and dispatched on time. Working closely with the warehouse team, you'll help maintain an efficient workflow while following safe work practices and contributing to a positive team environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Safely loading and unloading trucks using a forklift.
- Receiving, storing and moving stock throughout the warehouse.
- Assisting with inventory control and stock accuracy.
- Conducting routine forklift checks and reporting any maintenance requirements.
- Following all safety procedures and maintaining a clean, organised work environment.
- Working collaboratively with the wider team to meet daily operational targets.
Working Hours
Training Period (First Few Months) - During your initial training period, your roster will be:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30am - 3:30pm
- Friday: 7:00am - 1:00pm
After Training - Once you've completed your training, your roster will transition to:
- Monday to Thursday: 9:30am - 6:00pm
- Friday: 9:30am - finish time is flexible based on operational requirements.
About You
You'll be someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in working safely and efficiently.
To be successful, you'll have:
- A current Forklift Licence (essential).
- A strong commitment to workplace safety and quality.
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment (preferred).
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to complete simple inventory tasks.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute new ideas.
- The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
