Healthcare Equipment Handler is a full-time, on-site role based in Camellia NSW. This role is responsible for receiving, checking, and preparing sensitive medical freight for dispatch, ensuring all components are complete, clean, and correctly packed according to client specifications and safety standards.
The equipment handler will manage inventory, update tracking systems, label and document kits accurately, to meet tight delivery timelines. Daily tasks include inspecting returned kits, reporting discrepancies or damage, performing basic cleaning and repackaging, and maintaining an organised and secure storage area.
The role also involves following standard operating procedures, adhering to health and safety requirements, and supporting continuous improvement in loan kit handling and logistics processes.
Requirements:
- Qualifications Experience in warehousing, logistics, or inventory control, ideally with sensitive or medical equipment.
- Strong attention to detail for checking kit contents, documentation, labelling, and quality control.
- Basic computer skills for using inventory management or freight tracking systems.
- Good organisational and time management skills to handle multiple kits, tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and comply with safety and handling guidelines.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with internal teams and, when required, customers.
- Physical capability to safely lift, move, and pack freight and loan kits within workplace safety limits.
- Previous experience in medical, dental, or high-value freight environments is an advantage.
- Reliable work ethic, willingness to learn, and a focus on delivering high-quality service.
- Own car / transport and drivers licence.
Pay: $70,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
