Where you'll be working:
You’ll be joining the Endoscopy Unit, working alongside a multidisciplinary team of nurses, doctors, allied health professionals and administrative staff. You’ll also work closely with the Clinical Support Officer to help keep the unit running smoothly and provide a welcoming experience for patients
This is a part-time position working Mondays, making it a great opportunity for someone seeking a regular one-day-per-week role within a busy healthcare environment.
About the role:
You’ll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Endoscopy Unit. Reporting directly to the Administration Manager, you’ll be the first point of contact for the area and provide a range of administrative and customer service support.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming patients and
- Answering and directing phone calls
- Supporting patient admissions and discharges
- Preparing daily reports and maintaining filing and records
- Ordering supplies and assisting with stock requirements
- Providing general administrative support to the Endoscopy team
This is a varied role where priorities can change throughout the day, so you’ll need to be comfortable managing competing demands while maintaining a friendly and professional approach.
About you:
We’re looking for a positive, approachable and organised person who enjoys working with people and contributing to a supportive team environment.
You’ll bring strong time management, organisation and prioritisation skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. You’ll be adaptable and able to respond confidently to changing priorities while managing a busy workload.
Previous healthcare administration experience will be beneficial; however, training in relevant hospital systems will be provided.

You’ll be supported to settle into the role through hospital systems training and one-on-one mentoring, helping you build the knowledge and confidence needed to succeed.
You’ll also have the opportunity to work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary healthcare team while contributing to the smooth operation of an important patient service.
