About the Opportunity
As a contracted Exercise Physiologist at our Chermside clinic, you will have access to a modern facility and the opportunity to provide services across a diverse client base.
The contractor arrangement provides flexibility and professional autonomy, with the opportunity to nominate your preferred consulting availability while benefiting from being part of an established multidisciplinary practice.
Depending on your interests and experience, your services may include:
- Comprehensive assessments and individualised exercise programs for clients with a range of health conditions.
- Exercise interventions for musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, metabolic and chronic health conditions.
- One-on-one exercise physiology consultations.
- Group exercise and rehabilitation programs.
- Programs focused on improving strength, mobility, cardiovascular fitness and functional capacity.
- Diabetes education and exercise programs.
- Reformer and clinical exercise programs, where appropriately qualified and experienced.
- Collaborative care with other practitioners within the multidisciplinary team.

About You
We are looking for an Exercise Physiologist who has:
- Full accreditation as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) with Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA).
- Appropriate professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
- Experience working as an Exercise Physiologist, ideally within a clinical, private practice or community setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to evidence-based, client-centred practice.
- An interest in collaborating with other allied health professionals to achieve positive client outcomes.
- A proactive approach to developing professional referral relationships and growing your client base.
- Reformer/clinical Pilates experience is highly desirable.
- Experience delivering diabetes education or exercise programs would also be highly regarded.
