We are a Japanese restaurant located in Mango Hill, delivering fresh and authentic Japanese cuisine to our local community. We are seeking a friendly, fast-paced, and reliable All-rounder who can handle both sushi making in the kitchen and customer service at the front!
Key Responsibilities
- Sushi Making & Kitchen: Preparing and rolling fresh sushi (rolls, nigiri, etc.), prepping ingredients, maintaining a clean kitchen space, and general kitchen support.
- Customer Service: Greeting customers, taking orders, serving food/drinks, operating the POS system, and managing takeaway/delivery orders.
- Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness across both front-of-house and kitchen areas.
Requirements & Skills
- Previous experience in sushi making, kitchen prep, OR food service environment (preferred, but training can be provided for the right candidate).
- Friendly personality with great communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask efficiently between customer orders and sushi prep during peak service hours.
- Valid Australian work rights (Citizen, PR, Working Holiday, or Student Visa with eligible hours).
- Flexible availability (lunch, dinner, or weekend shifts).
