ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Moreton Bay College is seeking an organised and enthusiastic
Arts Assistant – Visual Arts to support the day-to-day operation of our Visual Arts program. Working closely with teaching staff, you will assist with preparing resources, maintaining learning spaces, coordinating exhibitions and supporting students in a dynamic and creative environment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Prepare materials, resources and equipment for classes and events.
- Support teachers and students during Visual Arts activities.
- Assist with artwork displays, exhibitions and the College Art Exhibition.
- Maintain resources, stock levels, equipment and department records.
- Provide administrative support to the Arts Department.
- Provide support to Library for afternoon supervisions.

WHAT YOU BRING
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience in an arts, education or creative environment.
- An eye for the presentation and display of artwork.
- Relevant qualifications and/or gallery experience will be highly regarded.
- A current Queensland Blue Card (or ability to obtain one).
