About the role
The Executive Support Officer provides high-level, professional and confidential administrative support to the Director of Research and the Research Services Manager at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital. Working with a high degree of autonomy, the role is responsible for coordinating administrative operations, managing priorities and ensuring effective support for a broad range of research-related activities and stakeholders.
The successful candidate will manage complex diaries and schedules, coordinate meetings, committees and events, support the Research Council and Herston Health Precinct Symposium, and assist in the preparation of the annual RBWH Research Report. The role requires exceptional organisational, communication and stakeholder engagement skills to support the efficient operation of Research Services and the achievement of organisational objectives.
About you

Provide high-level executive, secretarial and administrative support while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
Manage complex diary, meeting and event coordination activities, ensuring effective prioritisation and efficient use of executive time.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with senior leaders, researchers and a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
Coordinate committees, forums and research-related events, including preparation of agendas, minutes, reports and follow-up actions.
Demonstrate initiative, sound judgement and problem-solving skills while managing competing priorities and supporting continuous improvement in administrative processes.
