About the role
Balmain Care For Kids are seeking a passionate and motivated individual to join our team as a Trainee educator. This is a full-time role based in our Balmain, NSW. As a Trainee, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the childcare industry while working towards your nationally recognised qualification, being a Certificate 3 in Early Education.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting with the daily care and supervision of children
- Participating in the planning and implementation of age-appropriate educational programs and activities
- Maintaining a safe and stimulating learning environment for the children
- Communicating effectively with parents and families
- Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
- Participating in ongoing professional development and training
What we're looking for
- No experience required, you will learn in the role
- A genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to their well-being
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work well in a team environment
- Enthusiasm for learning and a willingness to work towards a relevant childcare qualification
- A current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
