Our business is a small team who values their staff. We are looking for a Housekeeper / Room Attendant to join our hotel team in Brisbane City
We are looking for a professional room attendant that enjoys engaging with guests, has previous experience in the hotel industry and enjoys a small team environment.
Job Description
In this role you will:
- Clean guest rooms and common areas. Be competent in making beds and general cleaning in a timely manner.
- Restock cleaning supplies and linen.
- Carry out programmed / regular cleaning duties as allocated.
- Ensure all department equipment is maintained to a high standard.
- Assist with regular equipment stocktaking and inventory items.
- Report any lost property following correct procedures.
- Understand the correct usage and storage of cleaning agents in line with health and safety regulations and manufacturers instructions.
- Be able to work independently, with a happy persona.
What are we looking for?
- Previous experience in similar roles within a Hotel environment.
- A high standard of hygiene, grooming and presentation.
- Attention to detail when cleaning.
- Communication skills with fluency in English is preferred
- Flexibility regarding your work availability is essential, as we operate 7 days a week, including public holidays.
Our hotel is looking to expand our team of housekeepers. Shifts start at 8am, 7 days a week and finish when the jobs are complete, hours are generally 4 to 8 hours dependent on the workload on the day. We are looking for someone to work 3-4 shifts a week. Pay is commensurate with the hospitality award. Parking available onsite.
