Boddington is a flagship Newmont gold and copper operation in Western Australia, located about 130 kilometres south-east of Perth and 16 kilometres from the rural town of Boddington. Your impact
As a key member of the Process Maintenance team, reporting to the Process Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a critical role in maintaining the reliability and performance of Boddington Gold Mine's crushing, conveying and comminution assets. Working across the HPGR and Wear Management area, you will support safe and efficient maintenance activities that maximise plant availability and contribute to the operation achieving its milling targets of 40.5MTPA.
As part of our team you will

Perform maintenance, inspections and repairs across crushers, conveyors, screens, feeders and High Pressure Grinding Rolls (HPGR) to support safe and reliable plant operation.
Execute preventative maintenance, shutdown activities and equipment change-outs, including wear liners, chutes and other wear management components.
Identify equipment defects, undertake fault-finding activities and raise maintenance notifications through site systems.
Operate plant and maintenance equipment including Elevated Work Platforms (EWP), forklifts, overhead cranes and associated lifting equipment.
Collaborate with Operations, Reliability, Planning and Maintenance teams to improve equipment performance, plant availability and maintenance effectiveness.
Prerequisites for your success in the role
- Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter with experience maintaining fixed plant equipment within mining, mineral processing or heavy industrial environments.

Demonstrated experience maintaining crushing, conveying, screening or comminution equipment, with exposure to HPGR circuits highly regarded.

Strong mechanical troubleshooting, fault-finding and maintenance execution skills, including planned maintenance and shutdown support.

Experience using SAP or similar Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and maintaining accurate maintenance records.

Current C Class Driver's Licence and a strong commitment to safety, risk management and compliance with site procedures and critical controls.
Your Work Environment
This role is based at Boddington Gold Mine on a 5/2, 4/3 day-shift only roster, working 80 hours per fortnight with every second Friday as an RDO.
You will work within the HPGR and Wear Management team, reporting to the Process Maintenance Supervisor and collaborating closely with Operations, Reliability, Planning and Maintenance teams. Supporting one of Australia's largest gold processing operations, you will play an important role in maintaining critical crushing, conveying and comminution assets to deliver safe and reliable production outcomes.
